Nowadays we came across many cases of child kidnapping, and according to the data released by NCME, there is a child lost every 90 seconds. So a device that can deal with child kidnapping has become more and more popular.
Through the use of wearable devices connected to a wireless network, the solution allows parents to track the location of their child in real-time. The IoT devices can be connected to a smartphone app that sends alerts or notifications to parents when their child moves beyond a pre-defined range while at the same time produce a loud sound to attract attention in case of an emergency.
At present the technology has already been implemented in various public spaces such as theme parks, shopping centers, and public beaches with promising results. Generally, by connecting devices to the internet and monitoring children in real-time, IoT could provide a quicker response to emergencies and prevent tragic outcomes.
